REFERRALS
We welcome referrals from professionals, organisations, families and individuals who feel that Ocean Therapy could provide meaningful support. Our referral process helps us understand the needs of each participant so we can offer a safe, supportive and positive experience from the very beginning.
Before submitting a referral, please ensure that the individual meets any relevant eligibility requirements and that you have appropriate consent to share their information.
How to Make a Referral
To refer someone to the Ocean Therapy programme:
-
Confirm that the person requiring support is suitable for participation
-
Gather relevant contact details and background information
-
Complete the referral form as fully as possible
-
Submit the form using the designated method
Once we receive the referral, our team will review the information and contact the individual — or their parent, guardian or referring professional — to discuss next steps, answer any questions, and explain what to expect before their first session.
What Happens After You Refer
After submission, we carefully review each referral to ensure we can provide the right level of support. Depending on availability and programme suitability, we may:
-
Arrange an initial conversation or assessment
-
Provide information about upcoming sessions
-
Discuss any additional support needs or preparations
-
Confirm start dates and practical details
Our aim is to make the process straightforward, supportive and clear for everyone involved.
Information & Confidentiality
Any information shared through this form will be treated respectfully and confidentially and used only for the purpose of assessing and arranging appropriate support. We ask that all information provided is accurate and up to date to help us deliver the safest and most positive experience possible.
